Who is responsible for your data
Synergizer by Alena Ipanova ("Synergizer", "I", "me") is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. Synergizer works with organisations, leaders and individuals globally.

What data I collect and why
Resource downloads. When you request the Team Map Foundation Session brochure or the Small Shifts, Stronger Teams practical guide, I ask for your email address. It is used to deliver the resource you requested and to understand interest in my work. Entering your email does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list.
Discovery calls and bookings. When you book a call, the booking is handled by Calendly, which collects your name, email address and scheduling details so we can meet. Calendly processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Direct contact. If you email me or connect via LinkedIn, I process the details you share to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal or deliver services.
Legal basis
I process your data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit your email to receive a resource) and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running my business. Where we enter into a working relationship, processing may also be necessary to prepare or perform a contract.
Who else sees your data
Your data is never sold. It is processed only by the service providers needed to run this website and my business: my website hosting and database provider (which stores download requests securely), Calendly (scheduling), and Google (website fonts). These providers may process data outside your country; where they do, appropriate safeguards apply.
How long I keep your data
Email addresses collected for resource downloads are kept while the resource remains available, so I can follow up on genuine interest. Enquiry and booking data is kept for as long as needed to handle our conversation and any resulting engagement, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws), you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy
If the way I handle data changes, I will update this page. The current version was last updated in November 2026.
